Steve Coogan has revealed that Alan Partridge, The Movie, will be kicked off this year and he still awaits news on who will produce it. In stories confirmed by the likes of NME, Steve Coogan has revealed that his new Alan Partridge Film will be an extension on stories and scripts already written by Steve Coogan, Armando Ianucci and Pete Baynham.
Steve Coogan has been known for years as a comedy actor, impressionist and stand-up. His most famous creation is Alan Partridge, the Norwich Radio talk show host, who fell on bad times, generally through his own misdoings.
With a show that helped spawn the careers of many comedians, Alan Partridge The Movie, seems ridiculous as folks recall the crazy situations that Alan would get himself into.
There will be plenty of comedy lovers that will also be talking up Steve Coogan’s other characters such as Paul Calf, Pauline Calf and Tony Ferrino. Although none ever attained the same heights.
The last impression in this Alan Partridge fanclub, was on Steve Coogan’s and Rob Brydon’s wonderful series “The Trip”. His Roger Moore was sublime, and contrary to popular belief, Coogan outshined Brydon on the impressionism stakes.
